Every tribe, every clan, every neighborhood, every village has those willing to cross the line into darkness for their own gain and benefit at the loss and misery of others while referring to their course of actions as progress.

History shows that there is a pendulum effect in the affairs of mankind.

If it's true that strong men create good times; that good times create weak men; and that weak men create hard times, then we are definitely in hard times. Will these hard times become worse? Will it last forever? If history is any gauge, the answer is a resounding no. It may take some time to re-establish normalcy, and to fix the massive amount of damage done.
